I came here when I was younger, it was very fun! There were many things to do and I felt safe. They have some nice campfire songs and the food was good. The only negative I have to say is that getting mail was treated as really important and encouraged, but to actually receive it, we had to perform different dances in front of our peers. It felt humiliating and contradictory.

My daughter was a first time camper in 2024 and begged to return in 2025 the moment I picked her up. She was able to be bunked with her sister by request to JJ, which was so appreciated since they live in different homes. My child had so many stories to tell when she got home and lots of songs to share that her and her sister sing when they visit 2 months later. Both girls are hoping to continue spending an overnight week each year and hope to become camp counselors in the future!

Indian Lake is such a wonderful place for kids to disconnect from tech and plug into faith and friends! My daughter has enjoyed overnight camp for multiple weeks each summer for years. We drop off a quiet, Insta-saturated teen and pick up a joyful, connected human with stories about skits and V-climb, worship and archery. Her clothes are dirty and smelly, but she’s never happier than when she’s at Indian Lake!

Indian Lake is constantly working to update and expand the camp's facilities and programs. Their support for home schoolers is great, as is their summer camp for both day-campers and overnighters. The camp can also host church retreats when it doesn't interfere with their core activities. The staff members are very dedicated and supportive. This is a great resource for Harford and Cecil Counties and beyond.

This Summer at camp we will be diving into the Armor of God,. As we work through Ephesians 6:14-15 NLT campers will get a greater understanding of the Armor of God and how they can apply it to there daily lives!
Archery Camp
Learn basic archery skills, building each day from the ground up with stance, grip, draw, hold, release. Camp has USA Archery trained staff running the program.
Drama Camp
Produce a musical! Campers will practice music, blocking, and choreography during rehearsals. To maximize rehearsal time, drama is overnight camp only.
Sports Camp
Focus on drills and skills in sports like volleyball, basketball, soccer, and flag football. No need to be an expert just bring a can do attitude!
Survival Skills Camp
Cooking over a campfire, fire-starting in challenging conditions, shelter building, and orienteering. Learn off-the-grid skills and teamwork.
S.T.E.M. Camp
Focus on the fun, creative side of S.T.E.M. by learning about simple machinery, nature, and teambuilding engineering challenges. Our goal is to spark curiosity and get campers excited for school to start!

About Indian Lake Christian Camp
Indian Lake Christian Camp is a nondenominational Christian summer camp and day camp founded in 1969, when its very first campers stayed in tents. Today, the camp has grown into a thriving outdoor ministry featuring 8 cabins with over 120 bunks, a spacious outdoor pavilion, a full dining hall, and expansive recreational fields designed for adventure, worship, and community.
Our mission is to help children and teens grow in their relationship with Christ, build lasting friendships, and experience God through nature and outdoor activities. Through faith-based programs, team-building experiences, and guided mentorship, Indian Lake Christian Camp provides a safe, fun, and meaningful environment where kids can develop confidence, character, and lifelong memories.
